Jason C. Haswell

Jason joined The Monteverde Group as Managing Director of the Wheeling office in 2010. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Bethany College with a degree in history, where he won the Chapman Prize for the highest GPA within the major and was named the Senior Fellow. 

Jason has 25 years of experience in the investment and financial planning industry.   Specifically, he has extensive experience in investment management, estate planning, and retirement planning. He works closely with estate planning attorneys and CPAs to develop strategies for the preservation and transfer of wealth for high-net-worth individuals. He also has extensive experience in business succession and legacy planning. 

Jason has been involved with The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley for a number of years as an active volunteer serving on various committees, boards of directors and helping with special events. He has served terms as Vice President and President of the board.   He has previously served on the Board of Directors for Make A Wish for Northern West Virginia, Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley, alumni council at Bethany College and has served as past chairman for the Scramble for Scouting annual golf event, which benefits the Boy Scouts of America. 

 Jason was inducted as a member of WV Executive Magazine’s Sharp Shooters Class of 2020.  He is an active supporter of West Virginia University as a member of the Woodburn Circle Society, as well as The Mountaineer Athletic Club.  

Jason holds the FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam), and Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law Exam) licenses through LPL Financial and is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with LPL Financial.

Jason resides in Wheeling with his wife Amy, children Lena and Jace, and stepchildren Devyn, Mia, and Max.
